2016 年是华盛顿国际文化艺术交流中心元年，年初由杂志社长陈晓红、总编陈建明历经几个月的艰苦筹备,创刊了一本美国唯一中英文合刊艺术类杂志---《华盛顿艺术》杂志.创刊号在九月份出版, 并于金秋十月在华盛顿大学博物馆召开发布会。
