邵阳县民俗文化资源丰富，成功向国家申报了两个国家级非物质文化遗产项目和三个省级非物质文化遗产项目。其中“踩高跷”和“扎故事”以及“蓝花布印染”等传统民俗文化，是中国民族文化的精华。
